Myra Davis Named to Becker’s 2026 Women in Health IT to Know List

At Texas Children’s, innovation drives how we improve care, expand access and shape the future for the patients and families we serve. Across our organization, new approaches to technology and care delivery are producing meaningful, measurable results.

That work is now being recognized nationally, with Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Innovation Officer Myra Davis named to Becker’s Hospital Review 2026 Women in Health IT to Know list, which honors leaders driving practical innovation across healthcare systems by strengthening clinical workflows, reducing administrative burden and supporting more consistent, reliable care delivery.

Myra leads enterprise IT, innovation and cybersecurity strategy, overseeing the teams that support technology and digital services across more than 140 sites and millions of patient encounters each year. Her focus is on building capabilities that expand access, simplify operations and better support our community.

Her work has supported the expansion of virtual care, ambient documentation and remote patient monitoring, helping reduce administrative workload and improve continuity across care settings. She has also strengthened enterprise data governance and analytics, improving how information is used across our organization to support clinical and operational decision-making.

She has also led efforts in intelligent automation and enterprise resource planning that improve efficiency across key workflows, while expanding collaboration with academic and technology partners to bring new solutions into practice.

This recognition reflects Myra’s impact and our continued commitment to using technology in ways that make care more connected, efficient and effective for the patients and families we serve.
