Priscilla George (Medical Center PICU)
She took excellent care of my baby and thanks to her, I was able to actually sleep for the first night of many. I trusted my daughter with her wholeheartedly, and sleep I did! Please give this nurse the honor that she so rightly deserves.
Lindi Stegeman (West Campus Radiology)
With knowledge, skills and competence, Lindi steps up to care for patients. With her actions and her passion, Lindi inspires all of us in the Radiology unit every day by going above and beyond her call of duty.
Angela Garza (Women’s Assessment Center)
She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable at all times, and showed genuine interest in me as a person. The thing that set Angela apart the most was her compassion and empathy during the most stressful part of my visit.

The DAISY Award is for all nurses in any setting. Nominations are accepted year-round and can be submitted by anyone at Texas Children’s – a patient, family member, peer, physician, clinician or other staff member – who experiences or observes extraordinary compassionate care being provided by a nurse.
