Mental Health Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This invaluable month is a time to pause, reflect, and remind us that mental health is just as important as physical health. It’s an opportunity to reduce stigma, encourage open conversations, and support one another through compassion and understanding. By prioritizing self-care, checking in with those around us, and seeking help when needed, we can create a culture at Texas Children’s where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
You care for others every day. Take a moment to care for yourself. Join the EAP for a Wellness Event in May to complete a self-assessment and mental health check, with support from EAP clinicians and workforce chaplains. Activities will include Well-Being Self-Assessments, a quiet, mindful zone, a journaling zone, a self-care calendar project, and coloring pages. Please join us at one of the locations below.
