The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and state have issued the necessary authorization and approvals for administration of the Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines for children 6 months to 5 years old.
Texas Children’s Hospital now has appointments available beginning Tuesday, June 21 and after.

How can I schedule a child 5 and under for the COVID-19 vaccine?
There are two ways for our team members to schedule a vaccine appointment for eligible children under 5 years old.
- If the child receiving the vaccine is a Texas Children’s patient, please schedule a vaccine appointment through MyChart.
- If the child does not have a MyChart account, you or anyone in the community can schedule a vaccine appointment by clicking here.
