Honoring Texas Children’s Administrative Professionals for all they do

April 20, 2021

There’s no doubt that our administrative roles at Texas Children’s are incredibly diverse with a wide variety of responsibilities to keep the organization going – and if one thing is certain, it’s that these professionals often go above and beyond their regular duties.

For Administrative Professionals Day on April 21, we’re proud to honor the men and women across the system who are efficient, hard-working, dependable, organized and wonderful in so many ways. Thank you for all that you do, and enjoy your special day!

We are also proud to recognize four outstanding administrative professionals who earned recognition this year in The Admin Awards®, often referred to as the “Academy Awards for Admins.” The awards are the first and only public recognition program of their kind in the country that focus specifically on recognizing and rewarding the achievements, dedication and importance of administrative professionals, who are nominated for consideration by their supervisors and fellow team members.

Kudos to our Texas Children’s people who were spotlighted in the 2021 Admin Awards celebration:

The Leadership Award recognizes the admin who leads others, whether formally or informally, and demonstrates a variety of leadership qualities, including persistence, focus, integrity, innovation, patience, decisiveness, open-mindedness, empowerment, generosity and a passion for helping fellow employees and their organization succeed.

“Cassandra is truly phenomenal,” said Executive Vice President Michelle Riley-Brown. “This is such a well-deserved recognition and I am so proud of her.”
