Getting the right provider connected at the right time is essential to delivering great care. That’s why Texas Children’s is launching Epic On Call Finder with Qgenda integration in June.
This new tool will make it easier for providers and staff to quickly identify and contact the correct on-call provider directly within Epic, helping improve communication, reduce delays and better support patients and families.
Qgenda will continue to serve as the source of truth for on-call schedules. What is changing is how that information is accessed, bringing schedules directly into Epic through a simpler, more stream-lined experience. In-depth training and resources will be released ahead of the launch date, which will be announced soon, so everyone is prepared and supported.
Why This Matters
-
Call schedules available directly in Epic
-
Faster access to the right provider or team
-
One-click communication from within Epic
-
Fewer wrong pages and unnecessary calls
-
Quicker consult coordination and care decisions
-
Clearer visibility into who is covering patients
