The revamped and redesigned 2021 Annual Required Training (ART) is now available in HealthStream, giving Texas Children’s entire workforce an opportunity to stay up-to-date on the essential patient safety and quality of care information at the heart of our mission.

All employees, contractors and volunteers must complete ART by Friday, September 10, to meet compliance requirements from Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA and Texas Children’s.

It’s easy to do your part to help reach the 100 percent ART completion goal across the organization! Access the course and get started today by using this link or following these steps from the Connect homepage:

Texas Children’s is getting closer to the exciting launch of the cloud-based Voyager software platform powered by Oracle, and taking steps now to prepare the organization and our team members for how this change will transform the way we conduct annual performance reviews and process merits.

In transitioning from Peoplesoft to Voyager, the organization will move to one universal date for performance reviews and merits. Operating on the same schedule will allow for more efficiency with communications, resources and training; foster greater collaboration and improved results; and deliver a better overall experience for our team members.

For more on the change to Voyager, check out this Connect story and stay tuned for even more updates and information to be shared over the next several weeks.

Next steps for our team members

Consolidating the performance management schedule will require our team members to take specific next steps based on your current performance review month. If you are currently reviewed from January through April, or from October through December, you will have immediate action to complete by October 1.

To better understand your role in the process and your required deliverables:

  • Review these Frequently Asked Questions for all the information you need to successfully navigate this transition.
  • Work together with your leader to complete any action items on time. Leaders have received detailed instructions to help them guide their teams.
