Texas Children’s Named to Becker’s Hospital Review List of Great Heart Programs

Great heart care doesn’t happen by accident. It starts with exceptional providers who are driven by curiosity, grounded in research and relentless about improving patient outcomes. That spirit lives every day in our Heart Center, and it’s why Texas Children’s has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of “Hospitals and health systems with great heart programs.”

Becker’s recognition list honors hospitals with heart programs that deliver outstanding outcomes, advance research and truly make a difference.

This national recognition reflects the work our teams bring to every moment of care. From a first clinic visit to the most complex surgery, our Heart Center teams care for some of the world’s rarest and most challenging cardiac conditions. They do it with compassion, collaboration and outcomes that consistently outperform national benchmarks.

The impact is clear. For nine consecutive years, our Heart Center has been ranked first in the nation for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery. Each year, we care for more than 34,000 patients and perform more than 1,100 heart surgeries and 1,600 cardiac catheterizations.

These milestones are made possible through the expertise, precision and teamwork of our team members in the Heart Center.

Our physicians, surgeons, nurses, researchers and staff work side by side to deliver the best treatment and are supported by advanced technology and decades of pioneering research that continue to shape today’s heart care.

Join us in celebrating our Heart Center teams for this national recognition and the dedication they show every day to redefine what’s possible in heart care!
