Texas Children’s Medical Center Campus to Become Smoke-Free

Texas Children’s is taking another important step toward promoting a healthier environment for patients, families and team members. Beginning January 15, the Medical Center Campus will become a completely smoke-free hospital. As part of this transition, all designated smoking areas on campus will close.

Smoking stations closing on January 15:

  • Meyer Building

  • Legacy Tower

  • Abercrombie

Signs have been posted providing a 30-day notice of the change. Please note, other Texas Children’s campuses do not have designated smoking areas.
