Dr. Brittany Rodriguez, PharmD, Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Pediatric Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship at Texas Children’s Hospital, has earned the distinguished designation of Fellow of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (FPIDS).
She is one of only three pharmacists nationwide to ever receive this designation, which is typically reserved for physicians. The FPIDS designation is one of the highest honors in the field of pediatric infectious diseases awarded to individuals who have demonstrated sustained excellence, leadership and contributions to the specialty.
At Texas Children’s, Dr. Rodriguez also serves as Co‑Pharmacy Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship and PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator.
The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, the world’s largest organization of professionals dedicated to the treatment, control and eradication of infectious diseases affecting children, has bestowed 29 distinguished physicians and scientists from the United States and around the world with the Fellow of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (FPIDS) designation.
