Every day, our radiologic technologists deliver quiet excellence, performing the critical behind-the-scenes work that makes exceptional care for our patients possible. Recently, the Radiology department celebrated our Rad Techs for a week filled with fun, food and friendship.
Rad Tech Week (Nov. 2-8) celebrates a remarkable milestone in history: the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on November 8, 1895. Since that moment, this groundbreaking innovation has inspired our radiologic technologists to use their expertise, precision and patient-centered care to further impact diagnostic and therapeutic medicine.
For this year’s celebration, the team planned a variety of engaging, food-themed events to honor our radiologic technologists for the incredible work they accomplish every day.
Halls were filled with mouthwatering aromas during BBQ Lunch Day, Breakfast Taco Day, and Pancake and Waffle Day. Our nurses also delivered sweet and salty snacks to our radiologic technologists to show their appreciation for their hard work.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our radiologic technologists who go beyond ensuring accurate imaging for patients. They uphold the highest safety standards and provide steady support to patients and families during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Join us in showing appreciation for our multi-talented radiologic technologists!
