As part of a broader cybersecurity initiative, Texas Children’s will temporarily retire the Phish Alert button from Outlook starting October 1 while we prepare for the upcoming new Microsoft Office upgrade. In the interim, a new reporting method is in place to ensure continued protection. Follow the new process below.
Received a suspicious email?
Forward the email to Report Phish: reportphish@texaschildrens.org. This process ensures fast threat detection and reinforces our collective defense against cyberattacks.
By reporting phishing attempts quickly, you help protect our systems and data from compromise. Your diligence plays a critical role in keeping our organization, patients, and data safe.

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month. There will be events and webinars to learn more on how you to protect yourself and Texas Children’s from potential attacks. All Texas Children’s team members will be required to complete the annual cybersecurity training titled “TCH IS: Don’t Mess with Texas Children’s Cybersecurity,” available in Voyager October 1. This assigned training supports our continued commitment to safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining a secure digital environment.
