Sign up now for an InBody Assessment at our upcoming events.

In just 15 seconds, the Inbody Test provides a detailed analysis of your body composition. Body composition is a more accurate weight measurement than BMI or a standard scale because it describes your fat, protein, minerals and body water content. The Inbody helps you better understand your body and its needs. This tool will provide you with the ability to track changes to your body fat, muscle mass, metabolism and more.

Please sign up below if you would like to complete an InBody assessment. Join the Well-Being team at each Texas Children’s campus to learn more about our current employee resources and the InBody assessment while playing beach ball volleyball.

June 2, 2025

Hurricane season begins June 1, and experts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are predicting 13 to 19 named storms. Of the named storms, 6-10 are likely to become hurricanes. They are forecasting 3-5 major hurricanes meaning winds of 111 miles per hour or higher.

The season is expected to be above normal due several factors such as warmer than average ocean temperatures, forecasts for weak wind shear and the potential for higher activity from the West African Monsoon, a primary starting point for Atlantic hurricanes. All of these elements favor tropical storm formation.

Take heed of expert advice: protect life and property by making an emergency plan, preparing resources and shoring up your knowledge. Visit the Hurricane Preparedness page on the Organizational Resilience SharePoint for various outside resources and information.

Texas Children’s is always looking for ways to showcase the amazing things happening within our teams and in your departments. You witness magic, miracles and milestones and we want to know more.

We’ve received great story ideas in the last few months, such as the amazing efforts of Patient Transporter Leroy James and Gilda Villarreal’s EVS Celebration Award.

Here are some details on the types of stories we can feature and some examples:

If you have a timely project or program, please reach out at least three weeks in advance, so we have plenty of time to work on the story and ensure there’s room on our calendar as spaces fill up quickly.

How to Submit your Story
Whenever you have a story to share, be sure to fill out our Connect submission form. If the story is a good fit to feature on Connect, the Communications team will reach out for further details.

We can’t wait to hear more from our One Amazing Team!
