At Texas Children’s, we know the best way to create an amazing workplace and patient experience is by listening to you! That’s why we’re launching our 2025 Annual Engagement Survey—your chance to share feedback that helps shape real improvements across our organization.

The survey will be open from March 25 to April 11. There will be two surveys—one for employees and one for Medical Staff. Our goal is to reach 90% participation because the more feedback we receive, the bigger the impact we can make.

Results will be shared with leaders in late May and action planning will begin immediately in June at the team and organizational level.

Your voice makes a difference! We need your feedback to help make Texas Children’s the best place for patients, providers and employees. The survey data will be useful across so many areas of the organization.

  1. Help us understand the level of engagement of our team members across the organization.
  2. Provide valuable insights into leadership strengths and areas for growth.
  3. Support the collection of nursing engagement data for our Magnet application.
  4. Create awareness around safety concerns and identify the strengths of our safety practices.
  5. Encourage leaders and teams to use survey results for continuous learning and improvement.
  6. Connect employee and provider engagement and patient experience insights through Press Ganey (our patient experience survey vendor) to drive improvements in all areas.

Need Help?

  1. Leaders will get resource emails named “Engagement Survey Leader Resource #X” to help guide their teams.
  2. FAQs are available—just ask your leader.
  3. Still have questions? Send an email to Mike MazanecTammy Christensen or the Organizational Effectiveness inbox.

We’re all in this together, and your feedback helps us grow. So don’t miss this chance—take the survey, share your thoughts, and help shape a better future for Texas Children’s!

Texas Children’s is partnering with Houston officials to make protection from measles accessible to everyone. Vaccinations will be made available to the public via Texas Children’s mobile clinics and at our Texas Children’s Pediatrics Westwood Clinic location on a first-come, first-served basis on March 8 and 15.

Texas Children’s has been monitoring measles cases since January and adjusting operations as needed. Earlier this month, screening protocols and guidelines were communicated to medical staff and nursing leaders. Please continue to follow that guidance.

We are less than a month away from the Texas Children’s Houston Open PGA TOUR golf tournament at Memorial Park Golf Course. Through our partnership with the Astros Golf Foundation, we’re excited to host the tournament for the second year from March 27-30.

For a chance to win tickets to the tournament, test your knowledge with some fun golf trivia. The first 40 people to reply with the correct answers will win two free tickets good for any day of the four-day tournament.

Click here to access the trivia form. Even if you don’t win tickets, you could win some Texas Children’s Houston Open swag. A handful of winners will be picked at random from the list of participants.

If you miss out on the free tickets, employees can purchase tickets at a 20% discount off general admission. Click here to access the Texas Children’s Houston Open SharePoint site for more information.
