Script for operators addressing patient families

I understand you are concerned about Ebola. I want you to know there have been no confirmed cases of Ebola at Texas Children’s Hospital or at any other Texas Children’s facilities.

You may have heard on the news about the preparations we are making and the precautions we are taking with regard to Ebola. Please understand we are thoroughly prepared to treat any patient who exhibits symptoms, and we continue to put measures in place to help maintain the safety of other patients, their families and our staff.

So, again, while we are taking necessary steps to prepare for this, and many other diseases and infections, there have been no cases of Ebola at our hospital or at any of our facilities. Please visit our blog at www.texaschildrensblog.org for more information on Ebola.
