Oftentimes, illness and injury can find us in the most unexpected and inconvenient moments. Thanks to our eleven Urgent Care (UC) locations across Houston and Austin, and the devoted teams who staff them, Texas Children’s is there for families in their time of need – whether it’s after hours, over the weekend or on a holiday.
“Texas Children’s Urgent Care doesn’t exist unless we have people like you,” said Assistant Directors Jeremy Trainor and Lael De Jesus in a message for UC team members. “This is shown throughout every day, every hour, and every minute you put in to further our mission.”
To recognize these hardworking teams for their year-round dedication and stamina, opportunities for celebration and connection were given through themed days and fun activities. From dressing up for Christmas in May, to going head-to-head in the Office Olympics, UC team members went all out for Urgent Care Week from May 8-12. “Each location is different, but the culture is the same…we help care for those in need, and we have fun doing it,” added Trainor and De Jesus. “We’re individuals who make up our UC family, a clinic we call home, and each of you play an integral role in serving our communities.”
