We’re pleased to announce Dr. Alfred Balasa has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 Mridha Spirit of Neurology Award.
Sponsored by the American Brain Foundation and funded through the philanthropy of Dr. and Mrs. Mridha, the humanitarian award recognizes the work of a neurologist or neuroscientist who has demonstrated altruism, compassion, integrity and leadership while providing quality neurological health care to impoverished communities of the world.
“Receiving the Mridha Spirit of Neurology Award is truly humbling, as it sheds light on the tireless dedication of health care providers in Malawi…it’s an honor I would like to share with my colleagues in Malawi who continuously overcome challenges to provide expert neurology care to the pediatric population,” said Balasa.
