2021 Summer Junior Program kicks off

Texas Children’s Hospital Medical Center campus is pleased to host a 2021 summer junior volunteer program for high school students, ages 15-17. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic and current restrictions, Texas Children’s has adapted our summer junior program to a virtual, service-based program that allows junior volunteers an opportunity to support patients, families, and staff outside of the walls of our hospital. During this three week program junior volunteers will engage in impactful, fun, and self-driven service projects to which they will bring their unique talents and skills. This opportunity will help develop leadership and professional skills while also providing participants with an understanding of how their personal acts of service can provide a positive impact to our patients and families. We are thrilled to welcome a new class of Texas Children’s Junior Volunteers this summer. We encourage you to review the program information and consider applying to be a part of this special opportunity.
