Virtual Health and Science Policy Research Day set for next week, registration still open

Baylor College of Medicine will host an all-day virtual Health and Science Policy Research Day event from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, via Zoom Meeting.

This free event will convene leading experts from multiple disciplines – health policy, general surgery, orthotics and prosthetics, global health, genetics, epidemiology, psychiatry, urology, pediatrics – to highlight current research in these areas and discuss some of society’s biggest questions pertaining to ethics, power, control, humanity, responsibility, privacy and prevention.

The virtual event will feature several guest speakers from Texas Children’s including Drs. Jean LeClerc Raphael, Fernando Stein, Heidi Russell, Peter Hotez and Bindi Naik-Mathuria, and will conclude with a virtual poster session. Click here for the agenda and more information about the event.
