Update: Texas Children’s system-wide Blue Jeans for Babies 2021 fundraising campaign is here!

Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

This year, due to the challenges we have all faced with Covid-19, employees may purchase a “Blue Jeans for Babies” button that allows the wearer to follow the dress-down policy/approved blue jeans on Fridays during May, June or both:

  • $20 for May 7, 14, 21, 28
  • $20 for June 4, 11, 18, 25
  • $40 for May + June

Ways to participate

  • Join your online MOD team and donate to yourself, $20 or $40
    • Print the receipt, give to your Team Captain to get your button*

  • Celebration Food/Spirit Days are Friday, May 14, and Saturday, May 15. Fajita Pete will donate 15 percent of their total sales for both days to the March of Dimes. Plan a family meal or a socially distanced small team celebration.

100 percent of your gift will support March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. Your gift also will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
