Texas Children’s Renal Services recently earned the 5-Diamond Safety Program Certification, which awards institutions that taken on additional measures to improve both staff and patient awareness of specific safety topics.
The program is open to all facilities nationally and is endorsed by the American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA), the National Renal Administrators Association (NRAA), the Renal Physicians Association (RPA), the American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP), Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI), Fresenius Medical Care (FMC), and US Renal Care.
Texas Children’s Renal Services has partnered with Renal Network 5 in revising each of the educational modules for 2019 to provide a pediatric perspective.
