On Thursday, December 11, KRBE will once again bring the community together in support of Texas Children’s during the annual Houston’s Little Heroes Radiothon. Broadcasting live from the 3rd floor of the Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women, the KRBE team will be on-site from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., sharing powerful stories of hope, healing, and resilience from across our system.
Throughout the day, listeners will hear interviews featuring Texas Children’s patients, families, staff members and leaders. These segments are carefully curated to uplift our mission and inspire generosity from the Houston community. Patient stories remain the heart of Radiothon—time and time again, they’re what move listeners to give and make a difference.
The storytelling is nonstop.

From 6 a.m. to noon, during The Roula Show, interviews will air roughly every 30 minutes.

From noon to 7 p.m., during Kevin & Audrey’s programming and other DJ segments, Texas Children’s voices will be featured at least once every hour.
KRBE’s social media, digital and promotions teams will also be on-site capturing behind-the-scenes moments to amplify the event even further.
Last year, this incredible day of generosity raised $164,012 for Texas Children’s—and with your help, we can make an even greater impact this year.
