If you haven’t used your 2017 Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds yet, you should be aware of an approaching deadline.
Thursday, March 15, is the final day to pay for eligible expenses from your FSA account. Any unused 2017 funds in your FSA account after this date will be forfeited per IRS rules.
To manage and review your FSA account, log into PayFlex and:
- Check your account balance on your PayFlex homepage.
- Click on Help & Support to Explore Common Eligible Expense Items to determine how you can spend your remaining funds.
- Submit your eligible claims to PayFlex by April 30, 2018, for reimbursement. Eligible claims include those incurred up until March 15, 2018.
- Click File a claim in Account Actions on your PayFlex homepage (underneath your account balance). March 15 is just around the corner, so review your FSA today!
