It is time to register your team for the annual Periwinkle Kickball Classic scheduled for Saturday, November 5, at the Houston SportsPlex, 12631 South Main Street, Houston, 77085. Anyone ages 14 and older is eligible to play. Each team is made up of at least 10 players (minimum 5 females). Each team will be guaranteed three games. The first two games will be round robin style with the teams in your division, and the third will be the first round of playoffs. The playoffs will be broken into three divisions, with champions and runner-ups in each division. To enter the tournament, each team must raise $500. Round up your best kickers and get a team together. Entry fee is due by Monday, October 3.
Parking at the SportsPlex is complimentary. Space will be available for you to bring a tent/chairs for your team, but no outside food or drink is allowed inside the gates. However, concessions and other activities will be open throughout the day with fun for the entire family.
Proceeds from this event enable The Periwinkle Foundation to provide healing programs and camps that positively change the lives of children, young adults and families who are challenged by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
