As Texas Children’s expands into The Woodlands, we recognize some of you will have an interest in applying for available positions at our new location. Beginning October 15, we have launched an internal interest form for employees interested in possibly transferring to Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands.
A list of frequently asked questions is available for your reference. Addressed in the FAQs is important information such as the interest form-to-hiring process, requirements for being considered for a transfer, and contact information for any questions related to this process. Please read the FAQ document before completing the internal interest form.
This online interest form will only be live until end of day Friday, October 30. Employees who complete the internal interest form will be given priority consideration ahead of external applicants. To be considered during this round of hiring, you must complete this form.
Some key items for interested employees to know:
- We are planning to fill The Woodlands’ positions with approximately 50 percent internal transfers.
- Positions will show the month the job is currently scheduled to begin in (e.g. August 2016).
- Due to the need for backfill positions, the internal transfer process will be completely transparent. We encourage interested employees to begin dialogues with their managers.
- Employees may be hired months before their start dates and are expected to continue their current job duties satisfactorily.
