More than 90 mandalas were colored by team members during Nurses Week activity

A mandala coloring activity organized by the Well-Being team during Nurses Week in May engaged team members for some fun and creativity and produced many beautiful masterpieces. Nursing staff were joined by physicians, ancillary team members and patients who found some time in their days to take a short mental health moment and color a variety of mandalas in one of the nursing units.

According to Acute Care Assistant Vice President Rhonda Wolfe, many team members said how much they enjoyed the activity – they were able to relax, connect with team members while coloring together, and collectively create beautiful art. In the spirit of healthy competition, inpatient units had the opportunity to win a Keurig machine with coffee and individuals were awarded gift bags. More than 90 photos of mandalas were submitted. Congratulations to all of the winners and thank you to all who participated and shared your beautiful art!
