Maribel Castro, Quality Specialist, Texas Children’s Health Plan, died October 10, 2018, at the age of 71.
Maribel was part of the Texas Children’s team for almost three years. She worked as a quality specialist for the health plan where she helped to ensure our members received the best health care from the best providers in the state. The work she has done will help Texas Children’s continue its quality journey. Maribel’s kind smile and bright spirit will be missed by every one at Texas Children’s.
Maribel is survived by her husband Fred; three sons, Steve, John Paul and Mark; one daughter Nina; and grandchildren Kaylin, Kyle, Marianna, Marko, Maliah, Isabel and Bryson.
Services were held on October 16.
