Are you interested in pursuing a professional nursing degree? If you’ve been a Texas Children’s employee for at least three years, you may be eligible to apply for the 2023 David and Polly Roth Nursing Education Scholarship.
Texas Children’s urologist Dr. David Roth and his wife Polly drew inspiration for establishing this scholarship from their desire to “touch individuals on a personal level while allowing them to improve their lives and careers.” This scholarship is very unique because applicants must be employed in specific types of roles to be eligible.
Employees interested in applying for this scholarship should refer to the scholarship guidelines for details regarding eligibility.
“I am so proud that leadership at Texas Children’s supports our employees by advancing their education with tuition assistance,” said Chief Nursing Officer Jackie Ward. “We are excited that Dr. Roth and his wife Polly continue to support nursing education with this special scholarship.”
If you meet the eligibility criteria, click here to submit your application by Friday, February 17. Winners will be notified in April and recognized during Nurses Week in May.
