The Center for Children and Women – Greenspoint earns NCQA Level 3 Patient-Centered Specialty Practice Recognition

Texas Children’s Health Plan – The Center for Children and Women – Greenspoint was recently honored with Level 3 Patient-Centered Specialty Practice (PCSP) Recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Practices that become recognized under PCSP Recognition have demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and clinical quality through streamlined referral processes and care coordination with referring clinicians, timely patient and caregiver-focused care management, and continuous clinical quality improvement.

Earning NCQA Level 3 PCSP Recognition shows consumers and government agencies that The Center at Greenspoint has undergone a rigorous review of its capabilities and is committed to sharing information and coordinating care. Recognition also signals to primary care practices that The Center at Greenspoint is ready to be an effective partner in caring for patients. “Achieving Level 3 PCSP NCQA Recognition is a wonderful accomplishment for our team,” said Tangula Taylor, assistant vice president of Texas Children’s Health Plan – The Center for Children and Women. “This recognition serves as validation for the outstanding quality of care and service we deliver to our patients.”

Since opening in August 2013, The Center for Children and Women – Greenspoint has provided state-of-the-art health care that incorporates a wide variety of services in one location with extended hours to Texas Children’s Health Plan members. Services include obstetrics/gynecology and pediatric care, imaging, a laboratory, behavioral health services, and an onsite pharmacy, as well as support from a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals.
