Texas Children’s Pediatrics welcomes its 50th and 51st practices

Texas Children’s Pediatrics continues to grow its physician network practicing at now 51 locations around the Houston area.

Long-time area pediatrician Dr. Donald Leass joined Texas Children’s Pediatrics in July as the organization’s 50th practice, located at 1011 Medical Plaza Drive in The Woodlands.

Leass has been a pediatrician in the Houston area for almost 40 years and specializes in various medical areas including toddlers, teenagers, asthma and allergies. He is a member of several professional organizations and earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Texas Children’s Pediatrics Rayford will be the group’s 51st practice when it opens Wednesday, September 30, at 3515 Rayford Road in Spring. The three physicians with the practice are: Drs. Kathryn Glass, Sara Rizvi and Scott Watson.

Watson is moving to Rayford from Texas Children’s Pediatrics FM 2920. He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and specializes in areas including acne, allergies and asthma.

Glass joined Texas Children’s Pediatrics last summer, working as a rotating pediatrician throughout the organization. She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia and specializes in areas including acne, allergies, asthma, obesity and sleep.

Rizvi earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and specializes in asthma, healthy eating, safety and toddlers.
