Several Texas Children’s nurses to receive GSF Excellence in Nursing Award

Sixteen Texas Children’s nurses will receive the 2016 Excellence in Nursing Award from the Good Samaritan Foundation (GSF). They will be honored during a special awards presentation and luncheon on Thursday, September 8, at The Royal Sonesta Hotel in Houston.

The Good Samaritan’s Excellence in Nursing Award honors registered nurses and educators who have demonstrated a passion for the nursing profession and exemplify excellence in teaching, mentoring, leadership and service. They are nominated by their peers and selected by a distinguished Awards Selection Committee.
