As construction activities continue on the Pediatric Tower E vertical expansion project, we want to ensure the pedestrian safety of our employees and visitors as they access Texas Children’s facilities.
As you may have noticed already, barriers have been installed to prevent access to the sidewalk on the east side of Main Street near the Pavilion for Women. The sidewalk will remain closed until further notice.
Due to this sidewalk closure, we urge employees and visitors to follow these pedestrian changes:
If you park in the Houston Methodist/TWU parking garages:
Use Fannin Street to access Texas Children’s facilities
If you park in the Main Street parking lot:
Use the northern crosswalk at Main Street and Southgate Boulevard to access Texas Children’s facilities
