Mukerji was an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the UT Medical Branch in Galveston before joining Texas Children’s. She performed postgraduate training in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at both Seth G.S. Medical College and King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Mukerji will be seeing patients at West Campus and Sugar Land Health Center. She has also been appointed as assistant professor of Otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
